Ah the morning pout...

On our way into central London this morning. It was a beautiful cold and windy day out with Allie and Luke.

This is a post for Allie

Looks like she does eat fruit after all, or at least here's some proof she once did!

Babies in a basket

Here are two baby birds literally hanging just in front of the door to
my parents house. We have watched them all day being fed by their
parents. The plant may not be doing so well, but the babes certainly
are happy up there.

A moment of spring and child hood

Just like the flower petals of a cherry tree, that tricycle won't be at our doorstep forever...
Allie liked this picture and wanted me to post it. :-)

Sheer joy, what a dare-devil...

She saw the giant slide and knew what she wanted...She went down several
times with no pause...

Weaving the maypole with a cast on...

This past weekend was May Fair at the kids school. As part of the festivities the 4th
grade did some very intricate weaving around the maypole. It was very fun to watch. :-)
I was impressed to see Luke get through some very tight spaces with his cast still on!
Great job to all and Luke!

The cast comes off!!

One smart duck...

Hope you can see this phone picture.. This female apparently for the
last 3 years has returned to this shwanky home depot greenhouse type
store to lay her eggs and wait. Allie and I came across her today as
we were shopping for compost for our tomatoes. I did a double take
because there I was in the back of the shop, no one else, just me and
this duck and her nest. I got allie to come over and she couldn't see
her at first as this mommy was so well camouflaged! She certainly has
outsmarted the British foxes after her eggs!

French Riviera Allie

Sipping her hot chocolate on the terrace.... We are all busy squinting
through breakfast, the kids are going through culture shock to this
sunny climate!
