One smart duck...

Hope you can see this phone picture.. This female apparently for the
last 3 years has returned to this shwanky home depot greenhouse type
store to lay her eggs and wait. Allie and I came across her today as
we were shopping for compost for our tomatoes. I did a double take
because there I was in the back of the shop, no one else, just me and
this duck and her nest. I got allie to come over and she couldn't see
her at first as this mommy was so well camouflaged! She certainly has
outsmarted the British foxes after her eggs!

Sipping her hot chocolate on the terrace.... We are all busy squinting
through breakfast, the kids are going through culture shock to this
sunny climate!
